  4. So — been on this thing for something like six months now and I keep coming back, so thought I'd say something since a lad on another thread asked me last week. Am UK based, mostly do football and horses, a fiver here and there, for context.

    The reason I started using it was honestly pretty stupid — I never could work out what an e/w return would be once you get five places instead of three. Basically I'd wing it and get a shock. These days I type the odds in before I place anything, even a simple single bet.

    The single bet calculator tool is the part I open most — you drop in the price and your stake and it spits out the return with no faffing, fractions or decimals. There's also the fiddly ones — trebles returns, lucky 15 and lucky 63, patents and yankees, honestly that's where I always lose track. If you fancy a poke about, it lives at dutching calculator and there's no login wall, which I appreciated.

    What really changed how I bet was the nerdier extras. They've got an odds-to-probability converter and it makes obvious how much the bookie's taking, plus a kelly criterion calculator — I stick to fractional kelly because full kelly is far too aggressive. Dutching calculator gets used a fair bit if I'm splitting a race.

    Couple of gripes. Its layout looks pretty plain — not much flash, it's clearly function over form. On mobile it works though the acca grid need a bit of scrolling. There's no app, it's a website and that's it — slight shame just flagging it.

    Anyway. Doesn't cost anything, barely any ads, works. If anyone honestly adds it up in their head, try it — saves me plenty of dumb bets I'd have regretted.
